Upcoming CE Webinar:

Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences With Concrete and Economic Supports
J. Bart Klika, PhD, MSW
Wednesday, February 28, 11:00am–12:00 pm PT
1 CE Credit

As part of our partnership with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, we are pleased to offer Nevada Psychological Association members and affiliates discounted access to the upcoming webinar Preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences With Concrete and Economic Supports.

Many of the clients we serve are grappling with the long-term effects of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). As psychologists, you are in a position to address these effects but also to help prevent their occurrence. Dr. Klika will review the research on concrete and economic supports (e.g., paid family leave, childcare subsidies, earned income tax credits) for preventing ACEs and will talk about the role of psychologists in connecting families to these resources.

Visit https://bit.ly/PreventingACEsWebinar to register.
     • The discounted cost for NPA members and affiliates is $25.
     • Create an account to easily register for this and future webinars. Three steps: Click "Register," "Log In to Register," and "I don't           have an account." Enter NPA10 when checking out to apply the discount.

Participants will earn 1 CE credit for attending this session. Participants must attend the entire, one-hour presentation and complete the evaluation at the end of the webinar to be eligible for CE credit.
