NPA GovernanceOfficer ElectionsNPA officers are elected annually by electronic ballot distributed to all Full, Retired, and Lifetime Members. The NPA Nominations Committee is appointed each November and selects the annual slate of candidates for officer and regional positions. The final slate is presented to the Board by February 27, and ballots are distributed March 1. Officers serve from May 1 through April 30 of the following year. Committees & VolunteersCommittee and initiative chairs are appointed by the current President. Committee members are volunteers who work with chairs to support projects and initiatives. All positions are open to nomination, including self-nominations, except for President and Past President. Please include a brief candidate statement and current CV with nominations. NPA BylawsBy-laws may be amended by approval of NPA members or by approval of the Board. Any amendments related to the rights of members, reclassification or changes to any part of membership or voting rights or membership must be made by electronic ballot to voting members and approved by voting members. Annual Strategic Planning MeetingPlanning for the year is done each Spring. NPA’s long-term strategic plan is based on four Strategic Business Objectives (SBOs) which are being worked towards in 2024-2026. Translators (action items) are created each year to support the SBOs. |
