About the Workshop

This pre-recorded CE training (presented in March of 2023) focuses on the treatment of psychiatric disorders with psychedelics. The presentation covers historical and modern research suggesting treatment efficacy for psychedelic compounds for disorders such as addiction, depression, and cancer-related distress.  Risks and methods for ensuring safety and maximizing efficacy are also explored. The presentation also discusses patient selection, preparation, monitoring (guiding) during psychedelic sessions, and follow-up discussion (integration), among other topics relevant to psychedelic therapy.
